Visibility Controls

When to use? #

When creating documents that may have optional sections depending on the situation.

How to create it? #

1. Create a Control Variable: Use Show / Hide variable type. This variable will determine whether a group of variables is shown or hidden
2. Create Variables to Control: Create at least one variable that will be affected
3. Set Up Visibility:
   • Go to Visibility Controls tab and press “Create new visibility control” button
   • Enter title (not shown to users)
   • Select the control variable and the variables it affects
4. Press “Create”

How end user sees it? #

A group of fields that are visible if a controlling Show / Hide variable is checked.
