When to use? #
When you need list or table in a document. Those lists and tables can have other lists and tables inside them. Variable can be connected to more than one place in a document.
For example: list of buyers with list of assets per buyer.
How end user see it? #
Input form per row with input fields. Possible to edit / delete added rows.
How to create it? #
1. Create wrapper: Choose type Table or List.
2. Create child variables: Child variable could be any of available types.
To add child variable find your wrapper variable in template variable list and click + Add child variable button
Child variables are displayed inside the wrapper variable:
Example: Usage with Lists #
1. Create a list in your document.
2. Create wrapper and child variables.
3. Connect your variables to the document.
3.1. Connect wrapper variable.
3.2. Connect child variable: It is important to connect child variable inside the wrapper variable
4. Fill with values.
Click + add “[Table or List name]” button to add child elements
Type needed values
Click Generate Document
Generated list will look like this:
Example: Usage with Tables #
1. Create a table in your document.
2. Create wrapper and child variables.
Note: Child variables represent table columns
3. Connect your variables to the document.
3.1. Connect wrapper variable: Chose a table row you want to be filled with values.
3.2. Connect child variables: It is important to connect child variable inside the wrapper variable
Do the same with the second child variable.
4. Fill with values.
Click + add “[Table or List name]” button to add child elements
Type needed values
Click Generate Document
