Creating Custom Lists #
Custom lists can be created by admin on a portal.
Custom lists can not be updated from Templatise add-in, only in Portal.
Examples of lists: marital status, list of countries, employment status.
Types of Custom Lists #
You can create two types of custom lists: Key-Value list and only Key list.
1. Key Lists: These lists contain single values that will be directly inserted into the document.
2. Key-Value Lists: These lists allow you to define a user-friendly label (key) that will be displayed, and a corresponding value that will be inserted into the document.
How to create a Custom List #
1. Go to portal as an administrator.
2. Click Add new list button.
3. Choose name of the list – this will be visible only in portal.

4. Сreate a specific language version of the list.
Each list can have multiple language versions.
When creating Single- / Multiselect variable in Word add-in language version from the list will be matched with language version from the template. If there is no match, default language version of the list will be used.
